In Clui, you have the option to provide different instructions to reset a password if one of your users forgets theirs.
If you change the instructions, users are not prompted to enter their email address so that they can receive an email with a link to update their password. They instead need to follow the steps you provide.
For example, your alternative instructions may include the contact number of an administrator and request the user call them for assistance.
Follow these steps:
- Click the arrow next to your account name in the top-right corner of Clui and select Learning space settings.
- Change to the SETTINGS tab, scroll down to the Customised password reset instructions section and turn the toggle on.
- Enter instructions for a user to reset their account password.
- Click Save.
The information you enter in the text box replaces the default instructions for resetting a password, including the email address field.
